Ireland National Jamboree 2008
Irish Scouting began in 1908, so Scouting Ireland will hold a National Jamboree one year from now, August 2 through 10, 2008, to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The jamboree cost is 350 euros (about US $485 at current exchange rates) per Scout and Venturer, with a lower cost, not yet announced, for leaders. This would be a great opportunity for an international experience for contingents from U.S. troops and crews. The jamboree web site is http://www.jamboree2008.ie/
